Tauringroup partecipates to the projects of ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor), an international nuclear fusion research and engineering megaproject, which will be the world’s largest magnetic confinement plasma physics experiment. They are two experimental tokamak nuclear fusion reactors that are being built next to the Cadarache facility in Saint-Paul-lès-Durance, in Provence, southern France and in Naka, in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan.

Tauringroup, as one of the members of Sea-Alp Engineering Consortium, is been responsible for the realization of four Winding Lines for the production of the super-conductor coils that, put together, will create the huge magnetic field in which a 15 billion degrees plasma has to remain in steady-state.
